Busy Busy Busy

We have been really busy lately. I have had basketball the last two weekends and we have basically won everything. I know you all want to know about basketball so here it is. We played in the Schonebar shoot out and Schonebar won in every division. Also in the shoot out I got the MVP award for the B-team. This last weekend we went to Sitka That was super fun. We played about ten games and we were there for about three days; we won almost everything in that to. Also the weekend after this weekend we are going to Craig and I am sure that is going to be super fun too.

On to a new subject my birthday is in TWO DAYS it hasn't been very suspenseful until today. Today I got a survey from a someone I don't know, they wanted to know a lot of my favorite things so now I am pretty sure there is going to be a surprise party or surprise something. I will now try and keep you updated on everything about my birthday. 

Update

Hey sorry I haven't posted for a few weeks I have been really busy with basketball and island fest and school. So I will start at the beginning.  Two weekends ago week had Island fest and island fest is a super fun youth retreat in town. It is for two or three days and you go and you get to stay in a hotel room with your friends and you play laser tag and go swimming and learn about God it is just a lot of fun. Unfortunately the knight basketball team always interferes with it because we usually have to go to Metlakatla and play basketball so I usually show up late to it. An this year was like all the other ones except we only went to Metlakatla for Saturday after noon so I didn't miss very much of it. Okay the weekend after that Metlakatla came here and we played them for basketball our boys team crushed both of there teams and the girls B-team won there game too, But our girls A-team lost which was surprising. An this next weekend Craig's basketball teams are coming and we are going to play them also. An From now on I am going to keep you guys updated on everything that is happening. 

One Down More To Go

The guy who has been working on our house has finished the down stairs dungeon and now he is working on my room. FINALLY IT IS GETTING WORKED ON. Over the summer my so called room has been taken apart and put back together at least a dozen times and I had ended up sleeping on an air mattress all summer. Last week we finally got a real bed up in my room but of course as soon as I get a new bed someone shows up to build my room. An now I am sleeping in the spare room. I can't wait until I get a new room that I won't have to move in and out of. Anyways on to a new subject Brock and I finished the trench and now we have drainage by the side of the house so hopefully we are going to stop the mold from growing and stop all the mud from building up along the house. That is it for today.

Digging Trenches

To day we spent all day digging a trench right next to our house because there is a whole bunch of mud right on the side of our house and now it has built up so much that it is leaking in to our house and making mold grow. Not Good, so to day we had to dig out all the mud and now we are waiting for everything to dry. Then we are going to try and put a pipe in so the water will drain through the pipe in stead of the side of the house.

Schonbar Knight Once Again !!!!!!!

Over the last couple of days the Schonbar tryouts have been going on. There was a lot more people there then last year, to be exact there was 44 kids there and only fourteen could make the team and I was one of them. Okay, on to a new subject if you are wondering what is happening to my dad in Africa here is the run down or as much of it as I can say. He made it there safely then a couple days after that they had to take a 16 hour bus ride they then got to stay in a really nice hotel somewhere close to the red sea. for a night and got to go snorkeling. My dad said the sea that Moses parted is way bigger then he thought it was. That is the low down on everything here.

Dad Leavs Tomorrow

Off to Africa again dad is going to Africa and he is really excited and really nervous. He has had a cold for a couple of days but it just hit him hard this morning and he didn't want to fly with his sickness so mom gave him a gut bomb of oils so hopefully he will be better tomorrow. He has to fly for 16 hours so if you could pray for him he has asked for some specific things. 1 He wants us to pray that they stay safe 2 that God talks to him 3 and that he can stay healthy. Okay, on to a new subject mom has been trying to think of a name for her Dottera group I came up with the best idea which is (Speak Life Dottera)  and she came up with (Dottera legacy) which is way lamer Right? Okay, I am trying to win twenty dollars and my idea even has a theme song so if you like one better then the other CALL OR TEXT AND TELL HER WHICH ONE IS BETTER!!! Well I know you guys will make the right choice so that's it for today and if you want to listen to the theme song you can get it on Itunes it is Toby Macs, Speak Life song.

Google Earth

Hey, guess what we are on google earth. If you want to know how to see us on google earth then first you have to download it on to you computer. Then go to Ketchikan Alaska and once you get there  you go down to the streets the it will go in to street view and you will be able to see all the stores. Then go to our house and we are right in front on our bikes if you don't see us at first keep scrolling down the street and we are on the side of the road. It is really cool, last night we went over to our friends house and he went on to google earth and we were right in front of our house it was super funny because everyone was surprised and I already knew about it because I have google earth on my computer. The way we got on google earth is we saw a car with a four way camera on the top of it and it says google earth on the side of it and we remembered were we were.

The Start Up

Everything is starting up, new and old last week home school swim started, this week small groups and youth group is starting back up, and next week PE starts back up. I also am still doing early morning basketball and band. Band isn't quite the same because now it is early in the morning instead of in the after noon. I am also doing jazz band which is also at seven o-clock in the morning. Luckily that is only on Tuesday and Fridays. And that's a wrap, tomorrow I will tell you about youth group and small group.

There back

The girls are back, wah wahhh wahhhhhhhh, but they brought us stuff, so that makes it a little bit better. Yesterday at 4:00 is when they came in, they brought Brock and I some clothes but they got Simon a pair of really cool glasses that are actually a straw. Going off subject the sun is back and I really want to go swimming but it is already getting really cold.  When you go out side you can see your breath so I don't think we are going to be swimming until next summer. New pool

The pool is done, it has been done for a couple of months but I am getting to it now. So far we have probably spent over 150 dollars there because when it first opened we went there everyday and some times multiple times a day. We got a pass after the first 3 weeks so now we can go when ever we want. The pool is super fun because there are two water slides, a rock wall and one big kiddy area that has water shooting every where. We don't go there as much anymore but at least once a week. That's it for reporting today.

When the cat goes out the mice will play

The girls are gone wooooo it has been a lot of fun even though it has been poring down rain. There are massive puddles every where you can barely step with out getting you foot soaked.  So we have to where rain boots everywhere it is really annoying to because my boots are way to small. We all got hair cut yesterday and we all look really goofy especially me. Yesterday Brock and Simon got a cap gun and decided they would scare the dogs for life. So they chased the dogs around and shot the cap gun I got the responsibility of consoling the dogs after it was over. Both the dogs like me a little bit better and hate Brock and Simon a little more. 

Random Stuff.

Today charlie and mom went and got there hair cut because they want to look all snazzy or something for when they go down south. They are leaving on Sunday then it is going to be a boys party here at the house woo hoo. School started this week and it has been going pretty good. What about you guys? Moms green house is growing all kinds of stuff like big green peppers and zucchinis. Other then that not a whole lot is going on so that's it.

Ronny's family

Hey, sorry I haven't posted for all summer but school is starting back up again and I am going to be posting more. Over the last week my cousin Ronny's dad, Barry, and his dad's friend Gary came up and stayed with us for a couple day. We had a lot of fun in the two or three days that the were here. We went out to Settlers Cove and jumped off the rocks, we took them to go catch pink salmon with there hands, and then they got to go on a helicopter ride. They also got to go on Ronny's bus and got a tour of Ketchikan; they did all that in one day. It was a lot of fun.

Baseball Isn't Over Yet...for the All-Stars

     Ok, this is the low down on all the baseball tournaments this year and the awards. Everyone's season ended on Saturday except for mine which ended some time last week.
     So Simon had a game in the morning, his last game of the season, so he got a medal because that is what all the younger players get. If they are playing tee ball or coach pitch their award is always a medal.
     Brock had Championship game at one-o-clock and they ten run ruled the other team, the final score was 14-1. The last hit was a four-run, walk-off grand-slam over the fence homerun by Dakota Stacy. It was a great game for Brock's team.  After the game they had awards and Brock got a trophy for first place and Brock also made the All-Star Team.  Because he is now an All-Star he going to miss camp and go to Haines with dad to play in the All-Star Tournament.
     Then Charlie played her game and she lost so she was out of her tournament and she didn't get anything.
     Then my championship game was played and the team that I thought was going to win did.  Afterwards they did the awards ceremony and I made All-Stars too, the Junior League All-Stars.  So I get to go to Petersburg for our tournament and I am also going to miss camp.  That is what happened this past weekend, hope you like the pictures, I will be sending more later.

Baseball Tournaments

Hey sorry I haven't posted in forever but we have been really busy with baseball everyone's  tournaments has started and it has been super rainy so most of the games have been canceled. Today it is overcast so i think they are going to play. Brock's team hasn't lost yet but then again they haven't played very many games. They might have to play a double header tonight and tomorrow to make up for all the canceled games. As for my team we didn't do so hot we lost our first two games and now we a are out of the tournament  my team has lost twice so we are out of it. I will keep you updated on all the other game but that's it for now.

Demolition

 Mike is supposed to start working on my room today but we don't know he still has a lot to do down in the dungeon. But we started demolition anyways upstairs there is a little wall in front of my parents room that had to be taken out so we took a hammer and sledge hammer to it (We is Simon and I). After a while that got boring so we got really creative with our demolition. We brought out a baseball and baseball bat, one that we don't ever use for real baseball. I threw the baseball 3 times and then it got stuck in the wall. That was fun. Here are some pictures and I will keep you updated on the wall.

Cold Night of Baseball

Yesterday it was sunny and warm all day until we decided we wanted to play some baseball. literally in a matter of 3 minutes the dark rain clouds rolled in and it started poring right before the game started. To be exact when we were just getting on the field and warming up it got dark and started poring. So we played a game in the poring rain which is exactly what I didn't want to do. An the weather wasn't finished yet it started out raining and then it would randomly start haling big hale stones. By the end of the game we were playing in slush and everyone was freezing. It was so much fun, anyways the game was good even though it rained. We were down 3 to 6 in the 2 inning and came back to win 10 to 7 and we only play 7 innings. I played third base and when i was up to bat I got walked and hit that was caught. So over all the game was really good.

First Games

I have my first baseball game today we haven't practiced in a week so I am hoping that we can play good tonight. It is not pouring and it is actually sunny I hope it stays like that for the rest of the night. Today is going to be really fun I can't wait. Brock, Charlie and Simon don't have there games until Saturday. I will keep you updated on how everything is going. But that is it for today. 

Rain

Finally, it is finally poring, poring so hard that they are canceling baseball. I am not saying I don't want to play baseball I am just saying that I don't want to play in the rain, and especially when it is poring. It is poring so hard you have to run to the car if you don't want to get completely soaked. It is so much fun. I am going to get a new phone and I cant wait to get it, it is going to be awesome. Basseball

Hey how is everyone doing? I am doing great, next week baseball is really going to start. It is not just going to be practices anymore it is going to be games also. I have the first game and that is on Tuesday and I will tell you how it goes. Everyone else has there first game on opening day and I will also tell you how that goes also. The sun is back and hotter then ever I almost went swimming today. I just can't wait to go down the river, but I will probably hold my self back for another three weeks because then I can go with all our friends that will be out of school. Well that is it for today. 

The Maybe Man Cave

 Mike, the guy who built our outside stairs on the back of our house is done and he made a really nice railing. We have also been doing a lot of work outside as well as in the dungeon that we couldn't get to for a long time; we finally cleaned it out. There were lots of empty boxes down there, like boxes inside of boxes and more boxes inside of thoughs boxes...anyways not the point. We cleaned the dungeon out and there is a lot of room down there. We are thinking about making it in to a man cave; if we do it is going to be awesome. I can't wait, here are some picture.

Sun streak is over

Sun streak is over I think I jinked it because it has been cloudy ever since I said something also we get multiple down pores a day, it is really annoying. On to other news dad has been complaining about how Missy looks because charlie thought Missy had to much hair on her head so she decided to take some scissors to her. After that she looked really bad so mom completely shaved her down today and now she looks like a rat well more then she did before. Hope you enjoy the picture.

Summer is here

It feels like summer is upon us! We have had a really long sun streak, it has almost been two weeks of sun. It is almost warm enough to go swimming. I am super excited because one of my goals this summer is to go rafting down a river. The river right down the hill from our house that goes from the library all the way up past Schonebar Junior High School and all the way to City Park.  That is the river that I am going to take an inner tube to and go down. It is going to be so much fun I can't wait. Do you have any summer goals?

Stairs

FINALLY THE STAIRS ARE STARTING TO GET WORKED ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The stairs that are supposed to be behind our house are finally getting worked on. The guy who said he would do it is finally not hurt and is hopefully going to work on it until it is done. Mom is also thinking about busting a hole in our house to make another door down to the back side of our house. I will keep you posted on what she decides to do. That's it.

Green House

The green house is almost done the only thing left is the inside. Brock and dad finished it a couple of days ago and they also built some super heavy water logged boxes for mom to plant in. Also yesterday I had my first baseball practice. We did a lot more running then I thought we were going to do and the bases are a lot further apart then last year.  Other then that nothing has happened.

Here Comes The Rain

Lets see since yesterday we have had almost everyone feel a lot better. We built the door to the green house and made some flower boxes that took up most of the morning... occasionally checking on charlie who still isn't feeling very good.  The weather forecast calls for more rain, so our sun is about ready to leave.  I guess it is a good thing that the rain is here now, we can see if the green house holds up. The only other thing is that we are spending our last night in a quiet house for a while because we have baseball every night of the week this week and next week. That's about it.

Spring Sickness

THIS IS SO WEIRD ! I have done the science (not really because I hate science) and it seems that our family almost always gets sick when the seasons change. The reason I say that is because we have all gotten sick except Brock and dad. I think it is crazy because that last time I think I posted about some one being sick was in the fall when the seasons were changing. Anyways the point is that almost everyone is sick and Charlie was up all night throwing up. We would be really thankful for any prayers. How was every ones Easter ours wasn't very good. Because mom and Simon and I were too sick to go to church. But there were a ton of people of people at church which was a good thing in our day. I heard that there were so many people that some of them had to stand up because there weren't enough seats.    

Green House and Baseball

Sorry I haven't posted for almost a month. Over the last couple of weeks we have almost finished the green house, finished all basketball and we have started into baseball season. On the green house we only need to put up the two sections of wall siding and the door and we are done. For baseball we had tryouts last weekend and dad is coaching one of the teams in the Majors. Now I am in the Juniors and there aren't enough junior high kids to make a league so the high school kids and junior high kids are going to be one big league. Charlie is in Minors and Simon is in coach pitch so now we have a kid in every league (level). That is it for now.  

More snow and Baptisms

On Saturday it started snowing and it snowed all night, but Brock and I were not paying any attention. Brock and I were at a sleep over and stayed up until the 2:30am with the time change. Also Brock and Charlie got baptized on Sunday in the snow.  Well it was snowing at first, then it lightened up and stopped for the baptisms. I am starting to get tired of the snow I wish it would warm up because this morning we got up to go to basketball practice and it was really cold and our car was frozen.  So it took us awhile to get it unfrozen. The point is it was really cold.

No more basketball

We are finally done with basketball. Last night it was a brutal fight to the death, not really, we lost by ten. We came within two points, but we still lost. So, no cheer but one thing we can cheer for is that we all had a great season, and it is finally over. Also yesterday it was really funny because it was blowing and pouring and since Missy is shaved she practically froze and would not go potty outside. So then she would come in and go potty on the floor. That's about it.

The Shave

In my basketball tournament so far we have lost one game and won one game and now tonight we have to play the best team in the league. They have only lost twice and that was one in the beginning of the season and one in the tournament. So I will keep you posted on that also. I think I jinxed something because after I said it was going to start warming up it snowed all day the next day and then it has been poring down rain today and yesterday. Also yesterday we gave Missy a shave and now she really looks like a rat. Here are some before and after pictures.

Heights

Tonight I have a basketball game and then the tournament starts tomorrow. After the tournament we are right into baseball season.  We have all been measured to find out what size of baseball bats we all need and then somehow we are going to get them. If anyone was wondering how tall we are all getting I am 
66 in. Brock is 57in. Charlie is 52 in. and Simon is 47 in. The only other thing is that it is starting to get a little warmer because the sun is coming out, but who knows, it snowed two days ago.

New pool is almost done

Guess what, Dawson Construction is almost done with the new pool. I think they are right about where we are with our building the out side is done but not the inside. I think they are going to finish it this year some time and I think we will be swimming in it during this summer. Missy is still being confined to the kitchen and she is doing a lot better. Also next week is the last week of basket ball it is my tournament and I will keep you posted.  

No 5 to 9 inches

The snow warning was just a bunch of hooy it barely snowed an inch let alone 5 inches. An now the sun is out it has been really weird weather here lately. But I see that Boise might be getting some snow or rain here in the next couple of days.  Pismo  Beach is going to start warming up it might get all the way up in to the 70's this week. Oh and today is Leap day for those of you who didn't know this year is a leap year and today is leap day so happy leap day every one.

The gaint waffle stack

Tonight we had breakfast burittoes and waffles for dinner. Brock seemingly was in the creative mood so he made a three waffle stack and had jelly, peanut butter and syrup on all three layers.  It was pretty amazing. He finished the whole thing. Basketball is almost over, the only person that still has basketball is me and my basketball ends in the next week or two. Other then that the only other thing is Missy has been restricted to the kitchen because her potty training is still not going very well, and now she can't go potty anywhere else so we think it will start going better. Today it started SNOWING!!!!! and there are weather warnings for 5 to 9 inches tonight. I will keep you updated.

Crazy Weather

Over the last couple of days the weather has been pretty cold. In fact cold enough for it to try and start  snowing again. Just a couple little flakes here and there nothing big. Nothing big has been happening except the weather has been really weird because it was raining Tuesday, and then sunny all morning Wednesday, until we decided to go out to the beach. Then the clouds rolled in and it started to rain,then snow, and then the sun came back out all in a matter of 5 minutes. It was sunny for the rest of the day and this morning it was litely snowing. Other then that nothing has happened lately.



On another note last week Schoenbar had a Valentines Dance and I thought I was going to go watch the k-high basketball game instead. I got a call from someone random and they asked me if I was ready and said they were coming to pick me up, to go to the dance. I didn't know what to say so I said "ok" and it turned out to be Sadie with all of her girl friends and they forced me to go to the dance. So basically I got kidnapped. I got taken to the dance all planed by Sadie. Here are some pictures.

"THE BIG WHAT" ???????????

     Ok, Brock's Championship game was awesome!  The blue team (Brock's team) really stepped up to the plate, but the black team really came ready to play as well.  It was back and forth, Brock shot at least 10 shots, but none of them went in, but we had on kid pull through with 32  points, Wyatt Barajas. Unfortunately the black team had a couple of players pull through for them. One was Kile Smith and the other was Leshawn Garrett.  At the halftime the score was 13 to 13 because of an amazing last second half court shot that went in by Kile Smith of the black team.  The score was so low because of great defense.
     In the third quarter the blue team lost a little bit of steam and didn't play as good of defence as before. They fell behind, so at the end of the third quarter it was 27 to 34 we were down but the blue team came fighting back.  They got a couple of steals but couldn't make them into points until there were three minutes left and finally they got a couple of baskets. It came down to the wire. 1&1 shooting fouls for both teams and then the black team scores and they are up by 5.
     The blue team ran down the court and and got the ball knocked away by the black team, out of bounds. It is now blue ball under the basket, Dad (Cade) calls a time out and gives them a play that works great. The blue team scores then starts pressing and the black team throws a horible pass in and blue gets it back with 10 seconds left. They throw the ball to Wyatt and he scores!  Now they are only down by one point, Dad (Cade) calls another time out and the blue team starts pressing again. This time the black team gets the ball in with 3 seconds left, but Wyatt fouls out of the game. The black team is shooting one-and-one from the line (ahead by only one point).  The black team's kid makes the first one foul shot.   He shoots his second and misses but blue can not get the rebound. Black runs out the last few seconds on the clock to win 49-47.
     It was a great game for both teams.  Big crowd to watch as well.  Even through Brock didn't win they came in second and only lost by 2 points.

The big win, now for the Championship.

     On Saturday the black team was way off and the blue team (Brock's Team) was amazing. The blue team got every rebound and stole the ball every time they could. They played awesome defence and had come ready to play. On the other hand the black team has one kid sick, one hurt, and one that refused to play so that cuts down there team; but they still had 4 of the best players in the league playing. 
     For Brock's team, it was a day where everything we threw up went in and anything the other team threw up bounced off the rim. Anyways the blue team won by sixteen points and now they play tonight for the Championship.  Whoever wins tonight are the CHAMPS! So i will probably post again tonight and keep you up dated. 

Brock's game

Last night Brock had a basketball game and it was a nail biter. Brock's team was behind the whole game right up until half way through the fourth quarter. Then it was back and forth by one point. Until toward the end of the game when they got a couple steals which they turned the steals in to points. We went up by six. With a minute and a half left to go Brocks team got a couple of more steals and held on to it and wasted the clock. They won and now they play the black team on Saturday and if they win then they have to play them again on Monday or Tuesday. There was also a really bad call that the refs missed Brock stole the ball and had a wide open lay up and a kid ran up behind him a shoved him in the back as hard as he could and made him miss the lay up. Every one but the refs saw it and were yelling things like "come on refs" and stuff like that. Well I will keep you posted on the Saturday game.

Happy Valentines Day

     Happy Valentines Day everyone!  Sorry I haven't posted for a while we have been busy. Brock's team lost there game on Saturday so now they play tomorrow; if they win they have to beat the best team in the league twice to win the championship because it is double elimination. So, if they lose tomorrow their season is over. The team they play tomorrow they have beaten a number of times already.
     We are also getting a lot of sun here and that means it is getting warmer.  I think some of us got a little bit to excited, because a couple of days ago we went out to the beach and made a fire and roasted hot dogs. It was nice but Charlie wanted to bring flip flops and Zach wanted to go in shorts. It is still cold here like 46 degrees and as soon as the sun went down it got really cold. So we have to wait awhile before we can go swimming.  Hope you all have a great Valentines Day!!!

Charlie's party

Brock's team is in the tournament and they only have to beat one another team to be in the championship. but that is the hardest team in the league. So it is going to be tuft. Also Charlie just had a birthday and she had a dog party they walked them but didn't dress them up she had 6 little girls spend the night. It is a good thing the boys were out of the house or there would have been a lot of commotion. As an example when we came home from the k-high basketball games we got attacked. Not really but it was like as soon as we walked in they had a switch flip in there brain and it told them "Boys this is a girl party attack." We barely made it up stairs but after they turned on the movie they got side tracked. The next morning they all woke up at 7:00 and woke me up. When I went down stairs one of the girls was still hyped up on cake and ice cream and asked me in a giggly creepy voice "where is my punching bag Brock" I was kind of creeped out but I helped them turn on a movie. We had early games so the boys left earlier then the girls. That is the post for today.

Church update and snow

The exterior portion of the church is done except for the doors. It is sided all the way around and it looks good. I think Dad picked good colors. Now the only thing left is the inside. All the snow is almost gone and now nothing exciting is happening. So that is all I have for you today.

Missy and Mission Imposable

Missy is getting bigger, but she is still really small. She is only a little bit bigger then a men's basketball. Last week we saw the movie Mission Imposable III I think it was really awesome but I need to see the first one and second one, because I got a little confused at the end. After we went to the movie with some friends we made up a game in the snow about the movie it was really fun.

Giant icicles

A few days ago we were driving across the bypass and we decided to stop and knock down some icicles. and here are the pictures. It is also supposed to snow a lot more over the weekend. We are hoping it does so we can go sledding.

Crazy Weather

The weather has been getting a lot warmer and yesterday I thought that the snow was gone until next year but I was wrong. Today when I woke up it was dumping again and it is still snowing now. yesterday I saw some city workers that were carrying a pick ax and a shovel and they were digging out the street drains because the snow was covering them and the streets were flooding with rain I almost got splashed by a car on the way to school.  Missy is getting a lot bigger and still isn't potty trained but we are working on it. I hope every one is healthy and warm and that is it.

8 1/2 inches

We just got dumped on with snow, as soon as it warmed up it started snowing super hard. On Saturday all the basketball games were canceled again so Brock, Simon and I made a huge snow fort that all three of us could fit in. Sadly that very same night it caved in it looked like a big igloo. Also we are not very excited about the Super Bowl teams.  We were all rooting for the 49ers yesterday, but they got beat by the Giants.  Brock is happy because his team, the Patriots, will be in the Super Bowl.
